چکیده
Atatürk Dam Lake, which was established on the Euphrates River for agricultural irrigation and electricity production, is largest dam lake in Turkey. Many fish species, are primary food source humans, live lake. Therefore, possible pollution this will adversely affect not only but also human health. For purpose, study, lead, cadmium, chromium, iron, zinc, copper levels were measured liver, gill, muscle tissues of Cyprinus carpio, local people, caught from two different regions (Sitilce Samsat) August September 2021. In our lead detected any cadmium gill both regions. It found that all metals Sitilce region statistically Samsat (except liver iron level). Our research results showed heavy metal tissue C. carpio below legally permissible limits terms nutritional safety consumption. addition, when compared with previous studies, it determined there a decrease after wastewater treatment plants established.

Effects of cadmium and copper on sialic acid levels in blood and brain tissues of Cyprinus carpio L
Sialic acids (N-acetylneuraminic acids) are negatively charged monosaccharides which are common constituents in oligosaccharides of vertebrates and some invertebrate species[1]. They are possibly the most biologically important monosaccharide units of glycoconjugates. The majority of sialic acid in higher animals is bound up in glycoconjugates. Sialic acid often occurs as the terminal monosacch...
متن کاملRelationships of lead, copper, zinc, and cadmium levels versus hematopoiesis and iron parameters in healthy adolescents.
To investigate the relationships of trace element concentrations vs hematopoiesis and iron parameters, we measured lead, copper, zinc, cadmium, and ferritin levels in 251 healthy adolescents. Concentrations of trace metals were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. There were no significant gender-related differences in serum copper or serum cadmium concentrations. However, blood l...
متن کاملRelations between Iron Deficiency Anemia and Serum Levels of Copper, Zinc, Cadmium and Lead
Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is a common nutritional deficiency syndrome. Lead and cadmium are major hazard elements to humans in industrialized countries. Zinc and copper are essential and play important roles in different physiologic and pathologic conditions. The aim of our study was to determine levels of serum Cu, Zn, Fe, Cd and Pb in IDA patients, and to investigate the relationship betwe...
متن کاملMetazoan parasites of the common carp (Cyprinus carpio L., 1758) from Tahtalı Dam Lake (İzmir).
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was identification of the parasites of the common carp from Tahtalı Dam Lake. METHODS The fish were transported live to the laboratory. They were investigated for ectoparasites and endoparasites. The parasite specimens were fixed and identified. RESULTS During the study, 47 common carp were caught monthly and 3 species of metazoan parasites were found: Dactyl...
متن کاملP-42: Concentrations of Zinc, Copper, Iron, lead, and Cadmium in Ram Epididymal Tissue and Their Correlations to Serum Testosterone
Background With the advent of rapid industrialization, several chemicals are released in the air, water and soil. Chemical elements play a crucial role in male reproduction. Heavy metals exposure can adversely affect male fertility and result in severe impairment of testicular functions including germ cell death and inhibition of testicular steroidogenesis. The aim of this study was to investig...
